Police probe Alnwick car break-in

Police are appealing for witnesses after a car was broken into in Alnwick.

It happened between 3pm and 6.15pm yesterday, when a Landrover Discovery parked at Howling Lane in Alnwick had its window broken and cash and a purse was stolen from inside.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to this theft to contact them on 101 ext 69191, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
