Researchers have made an appeal for photographs to help an upcoming commemorative exhibition at Alnwick’s Bailiffgate Museum.
Lest We Forget - 1914, which starts on July 2, will focus on the impact of the outbreak of the First World War and mobilisation on the Home Front.
The venue is keen to receive photographs from local people who may have had relatives involved in the conflict.
Fourteen men were killed between August 1914 and the end of that year and images of, or more information about, these men would be particularly valued.
All photographs will be scanned and the originals returned. Photographs can be handed into the museum or emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org
