At the next meeting of Rothbury and Coquetdale History Society, James Bowen will talk about the life and times of Dr Henry Richardson, covering opium wars, anti-slavery patrols, convicts to Australia and 20 years of running newspapers in Berwick. It is on Friday, March 15, at 7.30pm in the Jubilee Hall, Rothbury.
