AN 82-YEAR-OLD man has pleaded not guilty to harassment without violence.

Frederick Smith, of Seahouses, entered the plea at Berwick Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, December 8.

The charge relates to an incident on April 12 and 13 of this year, in which it is alleged that Smith removed a woman’s property and sent letters stating it had been taken.

The case was adjourned until Thursday, December 22, for a trial date to be set.
