Fitness fanatics will be able to tone up and tune in thanks to new equipment at an Alnwick sports centre.
The gym at Willowburn Sports and Leisure Centre has been kitted out with new bikes, treadmills, cross trainers and more.
And the new Technogym machines are tuned in to Freeview as well as radio and wi-fi to give users the opportunity to watch their favourite programme, listen to their favourite radio show or surf the net while they exercise.
Users will also be able to download videos or programmes to a USB stick which can be plugged in to the machine.
The machines alone have cost Active Leisure, which runs the centre, £100,000.
Wi-fi was due to be set up this week which will give users another bonus as they will be able to access to Google, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and more.
Shaun Gaines, fitness instructor at the gym, said: “They are really good. Everyone is really enthusiastic about the machines and it means that you can come and exercise while watching your soaps or sports or whatever you want.”
The gym also has a free weights section, weighlifting area and resistance training alongside the cardio machines.
Last month it was 10 years since the facility was opened by Sir Bobby Robson.
