North Area Planning

Site visit for Beadnell window

A site visit is to take place for retrospective plans for a dormer window on a Beadnell property.

Members of the north area planning committee agreed to make a visit to the Harbour Road property prior to making a decision on the plans.

The application will go before the next committee meeting.

RETROSPECTIVE SHED CAN STAY

A retrospective application for a garden shed in Alnwick has been given approval. The structure, at Belle Vue Gardens, was put up in contravention of the original planning conditions of the estate. Alnwick Town Council was opposed to the plans and felt it was obtrusive, but the committee gave it the go-ahead. However, members did not agree to it being painted dark green or grey, as suggested by planning officers.
