New seating pledged for town

A bench and a seat will be donated to Amble by HMP Northumberland as a goodwill gesture when inmates make public seats for the town. It is hoped to place two seats at the coast near a gap in the dunes.

Coun the Rev Velda Nicholson has requested a seat in a bus shelter, to help elderly people, and one at Gloster Park.
