Residents of Swansfield Park and St George’s Crescent in Alnwick are invited to a meeting on Wednesday to discuss ways of working with the Bailiffgate Museum for a special project about this part of the town.
The project, funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, is part of an ambitious plan to ultimately record the stories of every part of Alnwick.
Trustee Jane Mann said: “This follows on from the highly successful Percy Terrace project which produced a DVD.
“Everyone wants to know more about the places that matter to them and we know that residents will have deeds and photographs as well as many stories to tell about the people who lived and worked in the area.”
The Swansfield/ St George’s Project also includes the children from Alnwick South First School, which is changing its name.
The meeting starts at 7pm at the Alnwick-based museum and all residents are welcome.
