Police are appealing for witnesses after a motorbike was stolen in a burglary in Swarland.

It happened overnight between 10pm on Friday and 9am on Saturday at Park Road, when a shed was broken into and items stolen from inside. Items including a green Kawasaki 250cc motorbike, blue Draper welder and red hammer drill were stolen.

A second building, a garage, was also broken into, but nothing was stolen.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to the burglary or anyone with information about the whereabouts of the stolen property to contact them on 101 ext 69191, quoting reference 350 11/01/14, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
