Residents and businesses from across north Northumberland continue to give their backing to the Jam Jar Army, which this year is raising funds for The Stephen Carey Fund, named after the 21-year-old footballer who died due to an undiagnosed heart defect.

From left, they are Nick Matlock, from Puffin Stores and Post Office in Alnmouth, the team at the Co-op Pharmacy on Infirmary Drive in Alnwick, and David Dixon and Emma Havelin, of Turnbulls of Alnwick.

To show your support for the Jam Jar Army, all you need to do is take a photo of yourself with your jar and Tweet it to @alnwickgazette and @1StephenCarey
