Membership builds for squirrel group

Swarland Red Squirrels Group has been building up a list of those interested in supporting the species in the area since its first meeting in October last year.

The group will look to work with the neighbouring Coquetdale and Morpeth groups to monitor reds in the region. It has also applied for some grant funding to buy traps, feed, monitoring equipment, insurance and posters.
