A FELTON-based skin-care company has won a major contract to distribute a programme of eczema treatment.
Skin Salveation is working with Meadow Laboratories, based in Essex, to launch moisturiser DermaSalve.
The range is said to soften and smooth dry and sensitive skin and provide a natural boost to the skin’s own defences.
John Davidson, managing director of Skin Salveation, said: “We are really excited about offering DermaSalve to our customers. Skin Salveation has always prided itself on a great eczema treatment programme, but we are always looking to expand.
“Adding the DermaSalve range to our shop means our customers have even more choice when treating their dry skin conditions.
“Eczema treatment is not a one-size fits all approach. The original Skin Salveation range has an 80 per cent success rate, but we wanted a moisturiser that complements this.
“We’ve put a lot of effort into creating products that help treat dry skin conditions, but this can all be undone with an everyday moisturiser that contains irritants. DermaSalve has no known irritants.”
Andrew Roberts, managing director of Meadow Laboratories, said: “The Skin Salveation range really impressed me. I’ve been talking with John for several months now and his knowledge and understanding of dry skin conditions shows he knows what he’s talking about.
“I knew Skin Salveation were the right company to launch the DermaSalve programme, they understand their customers and they have created a great platform to offer treatment for dry skin conditions.”
Skin Salveation has launched a new website to go with its updated product range.
Visitors to the site – www.skinsalveation.com – can get a free sample of the DermaSalve range so they can try it for themselves.
