Lifeboat shout for patient

The RNLI lifeboat at Seahouses was called to help a female patient on Holy Island two days after Christmas, after she was taken ill while the causeway was covered by water.

The crew took a paramedic to the island.

The woman was stabilised and brought across the causeway to a waiting ambulance by the coastguard as the tide receded.
