Chris Foreman, a Macmillan Nurse from the North Northumberland Association, accepts £1,000 from Fred Pymer, left, and Brian Halford, right, hosts of the recent Texas Scramble Golf day and evening entertainment at Belford Golf Club as part of the Belford Knights fund-raising activities this year.

“We would just like to say how grateful we are to everybody in Belford who helped with this.” said Chris.

“ Macmillan Nurses give grants of £5million each year nationally to people suffering with cancer and fund-raising efforts like this are so very much appreciated.”
