A junior show is being held as part of a new venture to encourage youngsters to take part in village events.
The show, on Saturday, will run alongside a plant sale and dog show as a pre-cursor to the Longframlington Show in September.
A fund-raising plant sale has traditionally been held by the committee to encourage people to prepare for the later date.
But this year it was decided to hold extra events.
There are a number of classes that can be entered for the show and any exhibits will be accepted at the village’s Memorial Hall bewtween 9am and 10am.
The show will open to the public from 10.45am, with the junior part in the supper room and the plant sale in the main hall.
The dog show will run from 10am to 11am with 11 classes including the best six legs and the best biscuit catcher. The entry fee is 50p per class. Show admission is £1 for adults.
