In the hunt for silver

Harbottle First School is having a jumble sale.

Having already earned an Eco-Schools Bronze Award, Harbottle C of E First School has set its sights on the Silver Award.

Focusing on waste reduction, the school is trying to cut down on packaging and is teaching the pupils about the benefits of reusing and recycling.

Such principles will be put into practice when the school holds its first traditional jumble sale at the Jubilee Hall in Rothbury this Saturday between 10am and noon.
