Huntsman in court

THE Percy Hunt huntsman has pleaded not guilty to illegal hunting.

Robert McCarthy, 34, of the Kennels, Cannongate, Alnwick, is alleged to have breached the Hunting Act 2004 in an incident on November 12, 2008, at Bradford Kaims, near Belford.

McCarthy was remanded on unconditional bail at Alnwick Magistrates Court yesterday to reappear at the court on Wednesday, April 1.
