A chairman and directors are being sought for a new tourist partnership designed to champion the county.

Owning Northumberland Tourism and working through it, the partnership will help build and maintain alliances across the industry and ensure that investment from business and the public sector is secured and used wisely to achieve maximum return on investment.

A new permanent board is being recruited to replace the current interim governance arrangements.

The partnership now needs to identify a chairman with a business background plus an additional four board members with particular skills and experience.

They will join a board consisting of a minimum of 11 members, including five investor members.
