Daniel Tyler, manager of Yorkshire Building Society’s Alnwick branch, enjoys the sights of Holy Island on a penny farthing as the society embarks on a bike tour with a difference, inviting charities to apply for a slice of £150,000 as part of its 150th anniversary.

The bespoke penny farthing visited Lindisfarne Castle as part of its tour of historic places in the UK.

Charities across the North East can apply for a £10,000 donation from the fund.
