Have your say on who represents local party

Three hopefuls have emerged in the race to be Conservative candidate for the Berwick-upon-Tweed constituency at the next General Election.

And residents who are registered to vote in the constituency will get their chance to choose the winner at a special open primary meeting on February 8, at 7pm, in the Northumberland Hall, Alnwick.

The candidates to appear are Chris Galley, who runs a sheep farm by the Otterburn Ranges, farmer and businesswoman Lucille Nicholson and chartered accountant Anne-Marie Trevelyan.

On the evening, the public will put their questions to the candidates and have the final say on who goes forward to fight the election for the Conservatives.

People who are registered to vote in the constituency can register to attend by calling 01665 602106 or emailing primary@conservativesnorth.com
