Have your say on the future of the coast

Businesses are invited to share their views ahead of the development of a Sustainable Tourism Strategy for the Northumberland coast.

The Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) Partnership is producing the strategy, which aims to develop tourism in ways that benefit people living and working on the coastline as well as conserving its high-quality environment and natural beauty.

Through consultation workshops, the AONB is seeking the views of local businesses on the best way to address these needs.

The three workshops take place on Tuesday from 2pm to 3.30pm at the Sun Hotel, in Warkworth, next Thursday at the Grace Darling Museum, Bamburgh, at the same time, and on Monday, January 7, at Hunting Hall Farm, in Beal, again 2pm-3.30pm. Anyone interested should contact Sam Isaac on 01670 623795.
