Support for this year’s Jam Jar Army winners, The Stephen Carey Fund, is spreading across the country and their list of high-profile supporters is growing.

In recent weeks, the loyal followers of the fund have been joined by a host of presenters from Sky Sports News including local Tom White, Claire Thomlinson, Jim White, Katie Abdo and John Davies.

All of them are now representing the cause with wristbands.

Elsewhere, Brian Moore of Metro Radio and former Newcastle United player Peter Ramage have also offered their support.

In addition to this support, the fund is amassing countless items which will eventually be sold at an auction in aid of the fund – the latest is a signed Everton football club shirt.

Stephen’s brother Dan Carey, pictured with his younger brother James and the signed shirt, said: “That all of these people and organisations have taken the time to acknowledge us and show their support in the most generous way has made my family and fellow committee members immensely proud of work we are doing.”
