Community groups across the county are being offered funding to help deliver projects through the Community Chest scheme run by Northumberland County Council.
The scheme aims to support activities that will benefit local communities and the first deadline for applications is Friday, May 9.
The fund is open to any voluntary, community, not-for-profit group or organisation based in, or predominantly serving Northumberland.
The money can be used for a range of purposes, including events or for the purchase of equipment.
Grants of up to £10,000 are available, average grants awarded are between £2,500 to £3,500.
Priority will be given to projects that are submitted by small community groups and groups that have not received a grant from this fund in the past.
Applications will be considered by funding panels made up of councillors local to the area.
