The Northumberland coastline has been placed on flood alert this weekend as high spring tides are set to combine with strong winds.
The Environment Agency has said coastal flooding is possible to low-lying land, roads and walkways, with the high tide heights and weather conditions bringing onshore winds and big waves.
The coast is particularly at danger between 3pm and 6pm this afternoon. Lower roads and walkways at Beadnell may be particularly affected by overtopping and spray. Further high spring tides are expected on Sunday and Monday.
