Life-saving kit set to be unveiled
A community demonstration and launch event to unveil a new defibrillator at Hadston House is to take place on Thursday, April 17, at 7.30pm. The equipment has been purchased by the Stephen Carey Fund and the parish council.
No objections to housing scheme
Parish councillors have raised no objections to a planning application in Red Row. The scheme, earmarked for land north of Enfield House, aims to transform waste ground into a residential site, by building three properties.
Vandals target empty properties
PC Paul Dent told members that a number of vacant properties in the area, which are being offered for sale or let, have been targeted by vandals. He said: “If people see kids hanging around, give us a buzz.” Contact police on 101.
