Donors help save lives

Blood donor sessions are being held at Glendale Middle School, Wooler, on Sunday, October 28, from 11.15am to 1pm and 2.3pm to 4.15pm, and at the Jubilee Institute, Rothbury, on Wednesday, October 31, from 2.15pm to 4pm and 4.45pm to 7.15pm.

Anyone aged between 17 and 65, weighing more than 50kg (seven stone 12lbs) and in general good health could potentially start saving lives by becoming a donor.

There is no upper age limit for donors who have donated in the last two years.
