‘Decent broadband is long overdue’ – business owner

Skin Salveation

Skin Salveation

A north Northumberland skincare business has joined a select directory of online businesses, overcoming the limitations of rural broadband.

Felton-based Skin Salveation has been audited by The Good Web Guide and has been invited to join its select directory of recommended websites, illustrating how better broadband in the area could boost business and employment.

John Davidson, of Skin Salveation, which sells specialist skincare for eczema, said: “We are delighted to have been approved by The Good Web Guide.

“This website sets the high standard for discerning individuals looking for quality products delivered and supported by informative e-commerce operating platforms. Recognition of our website design team’s efforts by The Good Web Guide is simply the best and surprising result we could have hoped for after the year’s intensive work put into our site by our guys rebranding and re-launching the site. Input from our users continues to grow with excellent articles and tips from health professionals on skin care issues being submitted almost daily”

And John added that he was a supporter of the campaign to bring superfast broadband to Northumberland.

“Decent broadband is long overdue,” he said. “Particularly as the Government is trying to encourage rural businesses and reduce carbon footprints with less people driving to work.”
