Crime still low in the Rothbury area

Seven crimes took place across Coquetdale between December 1 and January 1.

In Rothbury, a hydraulic, mechanical windy picker was taken from the back of a vehicle at Addycombe Cottages between 5pm on Tuesday, December 10, and 6am on Wednesday, December 11.

On Friday, December 27, a registration plate was stolen from the front of a silver BMW parked at Simonside.

In Longframlingon, tools were stolen from a garage at Low Town Farm between 3pm on Decmber 15 and 7am on December 16.

Between December 22 and 24, a chainsaw was stolen from a shed at The Avenue, Swarland.

Keys were stolen from a car at Weldon Bridge on December 13 and between December 17 and 18 £2,500 worth of wire was taken from Redesdale Riding Centre at Elsdon.

Between December 5 and 6 tools were taken from a farmyard at Broome Park.
