Charity shop break-in

Police have hit out at thieves who broke into the Cancer Research Shop, Narrowgate, Alnwick, between 4.30pm on Sunday, March 3, and 8am the next day.

It is unclear if anything was stolen. Insp Paul Truscott said: “It’s disgusting to think someone would attempt to steal from a charity, they must have no conscience.”
