Burglars target Alnwick house

Police are appealing for witnesses after cash and watches were stolen from an Alnwick house.

The burglary happened overnight between 10.15pm on Tuesday, September 26 and 6.45am on Wednesday, September 27, at Walkergate.

Thieves broke in and stole cash, foreign currency, two watches and electrical items from inside before leaving the scene.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to the break-in or anyone who saw suspicious activity in the area to contact them on 101 ext 69191, or alternatively Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
