Building site hit by thieves

Police are appealing for witnesses after the Northumberland Foods Ltd site in Amble was broken in to between 3.30pm last Friday and 6.30pm on Monday.

Fuel was syphoned from a number of vehicles and a plant machinery generator, a Stihl saw, a wrench and a burning torch were stolen.

Two JCBs were also damaged.
