Two Britain’s Got Talent singing stars are appealing for people to join them for a special gala night at Alnwick Garden, in aid of Childline.

Classical duo Richard and Adam will be performing at the ChildLine Gala in the Garden – the first of its kind to be held in the North East – on Friday, September 19.

Guests can look forward to an evening of dinner and entertainment with the brothers singing songs from their album ‘The Impossible Dream’ which spent four weeks at No 1 in the UK in 2013.

Richard Johnson said: “Not every child has a happy and secure childhood but we strongly believe that every child should have a chance to thrive without fear of abuse – this is why we are supporting this amazing cause.

The best of the North East’s up and coming young talent will be showcased, as the winner of the ChildLine North East young talent contest takes to the stage. There will be a range of other entertainment throughout the evening, including North East swing singer Alex Lomas, and an auction of exclusive prizes.

The dinner aims to raise £30,000 to support the ChildLine Schools Service, set up to give primary school children the awareness they need to recognise abuse, and to seek help sooner.

Tickets are £70 each or £700 for a table of 10. To book your place contact northappeals@nspcc.org.uk or call 0113 218 2732.
