Beith welcomes veteran medals

Recognition for veterans who took part in the Arctic Convoys to Russia, one of the most difficult campaigns of the Second World War, has been welcomed by Berwick MP Sir Alan Beith.

Convoy veterans have previously qualified for the Atlantic Star but have not received a separate campaign medal.
