A Rothbury garage is celebrating its centenary this year with a specially-commissioned piece of art.
Jon Radgick, owner of the Old Motor House, on Townfoot, asked Alnwick-based artist Sally Latimer to commemorate the business’s 100 years.
Sally has produced an art-deco-inspired, limited edition print showing the garage and some vintage vehicles.
She has printed the work by hand on an old press in Edinburgh, making it a very desirable and rare piece of art.
Mr Radgick has bought all 30 prints and is giving them to his best customers and to those who helped him establish the business.
The garage is thought to be the oldest purpose-built garage in the UK still to be in its original use, and Mr Radgick is only the fourth proprietor of the business started by John Lee who built the premises in 1913.
The garage was featured in a recent edition of Inside Out on BBC One last month.
It now runs as an MOT station but apart from that aspect, it specialises in work on classic and vintage cars only.
Demand for their services is high and the four-man team has work booked in to see them through the winter, despite having started in this specialised work only a year ago.
The Old Motor House provides a variety of services for classic and vintage cars.
