An acoustic hit
AN acoustic mission is hitting the right note with music fans.
Derek Allen, along with partner Hairy (yes, Hairy), have set up Clear Blue Skies Acoustic Magic in a bid to bring artists from around the music world together.
And it is a venture which is causing a stir – right the way around the globe.
Derek said: "Acoustic Magic has gone absolutely everywhere. Artists from India, Spain, USA, Italy and more are all massaging and asking to play Acoustic Magic."
The first session was last month at The Salmon Inn in Belford. It proved to be a hit and the duo have not looked back. Requests to play have not just come from around the world, but from big name acts too, from Adam Bomb to Steve Daggett.
The pair are also set to play at Stormin' The Castle festival, Bishop Auckland, with The Levellers next month.
The next Acoustic Magic night is at The Oak Inn, Ellington, on September 19, while the successful acoustic night with Steve Daggett, in the Blue Bell, Amble, is set to be repeated.
