A beach clean-up will take place at Seaton Point, near Boulmer, on Saturday, as part of 150 tidy-ups for Surfers Against Sewage national event.

It is being organised by Alnwick’s Sally Cook, who ran a similar event last year, from 9.30am.

Clean-ups will also take place at Amble on Saturday and Beadnell on Sunday.

All equipment is provided.
