There’s a new way for Northumberland residents who have views on council services in the county to have their say.
Northumberland County Council is looking for new members for its people’s panel – a group of residents who are regularly asked for their opinions so that they can help to shape public services in the future.
Taking part couldn’t be easier as most questions will be asked through online surveys that are emailed out around three to four times a year.
Forthcoming surveys will ask questions about satisfaction with services including grass-cutting, bin collections and parks.
They will also explore how satisfied people are with the way the council communicates with them and where they get information about council services.
For every survey completed, the respondent is entered into a draw to win prizes like shopping vouchers or electronic goods.
Coun Grant Davey, leader of the county council, said: “We want Northumberland to be a great place to live, work, study or visit, and have a clear vision and ambitious plans for the future.”
The council is currently looking for new panel members aged 16 and over from all ages, backgrounds and areas in Northumberland.
