RESIDENTS will be given a chance to have their say about proposed plans for a supermarket in Amble next week.
A public exhibition was held in the town yesterday showing details of the proposed store and plans submitted by Northumberland Estates and Tesco. And next Tuesday, a public planning meeting will be held, before the town council’s planning committee meeting to give people a chance to speak on the matter.
It follows two previous meetings held in 2009 to discuss the plans.
It will take place at Trinity Methodist Church Hall from 6.30pm.
Anyone wishing to speak about the application needs to register with the town council by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or contacting the council office on 01665 714695.
