Robson Green will be taking part in an online question-and-answer session to celebrate the launch of the second series of a hit television programme - and fans are being encouraged to join in.

The Hexham-born star has returned to his home turf for the eight-part show, More Tales from Northumberland, which will air weekly on ITV at 8pm, starting on Monday.

Ahead of the first episode, the 50-year-old will be doing a Q&A for Facebook and Twitter and people are being invited to send in their Northumberland-related questions, which can be submitted via Twitter @talesfromnorth by using #AskRobson or by posting them on the Tales from Northumberland Facebook page.

During the second series, Robson will uncover the hidden gems of one of the most beautiful parts of England. He explores parts of the county he’s never been to before – and some he didn’t even know existed – from its remote valleys and mystical ruins to the hidden history of its castles and stately homes.

The series sees Robson take on exciting new challenges – from shipwreck diving at the Farne Islands to skinny-dipping in the North Sea.

He attended a special launch event at Alnwick Playhouse earlier this week and has said that he would like to make more series of the programme.
