Fund-raising goes swimmingly for care home

The Interact Club of Coquet and Aln, which is the junior branch of Rotary, based at the James Calvert Spence, Amble,  raised �280 from a sponsored swim for the residents of Elpha Lodge, a care home for disabled adults in Broomhill.

The Interact Club of Coquet and Aln, which is the junior branch of Rotary, based at James Calvert Spence College, Amble, has raised £280 from a sponsored swim at Amble where the team swam 12 miles.

The funds were presented to residents of Elpha Lodge, a care home for disabled adults in Broomhill.
