Following a successful 2014, a number of events have taken place this year to support a range of projects in Beadnell.

Beadnell Community Volunteers had a busy 2014 raising funds to repair the village clock and upgrade and extend the Christmas lights.

Surplus funds have been used to build and plant up six planters on the approach roads to the village. Provision will be made to replant them twice a year. Four picnic benches were purchased to replace the old ones on the Bullring village green.

This year’s fund-raising has included a ceilidh in March and a car-boot sale in May which produced record funds. A plant sale was held in June, alongside a garden-party event and raised funds for future village projects.

A Village Auction takes place on August 8 and 9.
