Few crimes across the Coquet Valley

Only a handful of crimes took place in Coquetdale over the last month.

Between October 1 and 29, there were no crimes reported in Rothbury.

In Thropton, a garden shed, at West Neuk, was broken into between 7pm on Saturday, October 18, and 8.45am the next day, with a Silver CCM 600cc motorbike stolen.

And at Low Trewhitt, a 33-year-old man from Wallsend was issued with a cannabis warning after a small quantity was found on him.

In Whittingham, thieves stole tools including a Stihl saw, Bosch Mitre saw, orange lawn mower, Husqvarna chainsaw and Stihl nail gun from a shed at Great Ryle, between 1.30pm on Friday, October 17, and Wednesday, October 22.

Milk was also stolen from the Juries at Glanton at the beginning of October. Two people have been spoken to about the theft.
