Felton Parish Council

Complaint over planning

A member of the public has raised a complaint about changes to a planning application.

Plans to build a four-bedroom, detached home on land south of Springfield, Main Street, in Felton were given approval last year under delegated powers.

However, a previous application was withdrawn and now a new one has been submitted to vary the conditions of the approval. But speaking at the meeting on Monday, one resident said this change would take the development back to the plans which were withdrawn. Coun Hood said the parish council was currently looking at the plans before its comments were submitted.

Fish and chip van to visit village

A fish and chip van is set to visit Felton on a Wednesday evening. Mrs Hamlin has been in touch with a company which is prepared to visit on a weekly basis. The take-away van will stop outside the village hall.

Concerns over dog fouling and litter

A complaint has been made to the council about dog fouling and litter on Recreation Lane and Recreation Field. The issue is to be looked at by the parish council and residents are urged to report those who do not clean up after pets.
