Stunning models, superb outfits and cute kiddies helped to raise almost £2,000 at an annual charity fashion show.

The event, in aid of HospiceCare North Northumberland, at Alnwick Garden, saw charity supporters young and old take to the catwalk to model the latest fashions from Alnwick’s shops and designers.

Sponsored by MSP Ltd, clothes from retailers Dorothy Perkins, Foresters, Kiddies Kabin, Hotpsur 1364, Regram Runway, Seasons, The Emporium and hats by Couture milliner Margaret Woodliff Wright were all on display and the evening was added to with the Duchess Community High School pupils performing songs from their sell-out production Rock of Ages.

Rebecca Taylor, events fundraiser at Hospicecare, said: “We are delighted with the fashion show event, raising just under £2,000 means we could provide 100 hours of Hospice at Home specialist care to people in our local communities.

“We want to thank everyone who supported the evening who made it such a success.”

Lindsey Fiddes, representing the sponsors MSP Ltd, added: “It was a fabulous evening, and we were delighted to sponsor the fashion show once again for such a worthwhile local charity.”
