The Holy Island Partnership has announced additional bus journeys over the Easter holidays to Holy Island alongside new branded buses.

Journeys on the 477 service will run from Berwick Railway Station to the island’s Prior Lane and will operate on a special bus depicting iconic landmarks on the island.

As well as the normal Monday, Wednesday and Saturday journeys, they will also run on Good Friday, Easter Monday, Friday, April 5, Monday. April 8, and Friday, April 12.

Working in collaboration with the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Northumberland County Council and Perryman’s Buses, David Suggett, Holy Island Partnershipdevelopment officer, said that the additional services will offer choice and flexibility and a branded bus will help to continually publicise Holy Island throughout the year.
