WATCH: College gets down to monkey business after approval

These cheeky chappies have been given a royal reception in their new Northumberland home.

The two Emperor Tamarins are settling into their new home at Kirkley Hall Zoological Gardens. The Northumberland College facility accepted Augustus and Tiberius after being approved for an endangered breeding programme.

Animal Resource Centre Manager Steven Sykes said: “We are delighted to have these Emperor Tamarins at the zoo and it’s great to be part of this programme to protect endangered species like these rare monkeys.”
