Towards the end of term, pupils from Glendale Middle School took part in 55 different activities during a special week, ranging from archery to crepe-making, glass-painting to tag rugby and cheese-making to raft building.
The aim is to introduce pupils to new experiences and challenges, but also to have fun at the end of the school year.
Students choose their own activities and plan their week. There was no rest in the final week of term either as every year group took part in a local challenge.
Year 5 walked to Fowberry Moor and brushed up on their map skills, Year 6 climbed Yeavering Bell, Year 7 climbed Ros Castle and Year 8 climbed Cheviot.
The final Wednesday also saw the school’s presentation assembly.
