Northumberland Theatre Company’s (NTC) autumn tour of A Midsummer Night’s Dream starts tonight.
The opening show takes place at Alnmouth’s Hindmarsh Hall at 7.30pm.
NTC will then perform Shakespeare’s classic tale in more than 30 other venues nationwide over a two-month period.
The tour ends with performances at Alnwick Playhouse on October 26 and 27.
Other Northumberland venues to host A Midsummer Night’s Dream during the tour include Etal Village Hall (September 14), Bamburgh Pavilion (September 19), Acklington Village Hall (September 20), Chatton Village Hall (September 21) and Longhirst Village Hall (September 22), Morpeth Town Hall (October 13), Kirkwhelpington Village Hall (October 24) and Glanton Memorial Hall (October 25).
NTC is delighted to welcome back regular actors Nigel Collins, Eleanor Dennison, Louis Roberts and Stephanie Butler for the production, as well as introducing acting trainee Kylie Ann Ford.
The performances are suitable for families with children aged 11-plus.
