On July 2, Alnwick Rotarian Terry Long, who has been district governor, handed over to Peter Chandler, of the Rotary Club of Stokesley, at the Ramside Hotel, Durham. The district covers 64 clubs from Berwick to North Yorkshire.

“It has been a very busy, but extremely rewarding 12 months,” said Terry. “It’s comforting to know that our organisation will be continuing to help communities.”
