Police are appealing for information after designer jewellery and footwear were stolen from a car at a Northumberland coastal beauty spot.

A Pandora bracelet, a pair of Toggi brown boots and pink Hunter wellies and a handbag were taken from a Toyota Yaris.

The incident happened at Druridge Links car park, at Druridge Bay, between 6.45pm and 9.30pm, on Wednesday, June 10.

Inquiries are ongoing into the theft and anyone with any information is asked to contact police on 101 ext 69191 quoting reference number 1248 10/06/15.

Motorists are being reminded to remove all valuables from inside their vehicles when leaving them parked and to make sure they are locked when left unattended.
